Benefit of having sex

Sex benefit for health is inevitable. The proof, of the many properties that have been published, there are always new studies reveal benefits of sex.

The latest findings published the American Journal of Cardiology, for example, states that men who have sex at least twice a week can be spared from the risk of heart disease. The study showed, those who have sex regularly have 45 percent lower risk of heart disease than those who have sex only once a month or less.


Studies involving 1,000 people indicated a protective effect for sex gives the heart a man, but the study did not test whether the same effects apply to women.

Each year, approximately 270,000 people in the UK suffer a heart attack, and coronary heart disease became the greatest killer. Although sex has long been known as a profitable activity of mental and physical health, but still little scientific evidence that shows how routine sex bring substantial benefits to serious illnesses like heart.

In his research, scientists at the New England Research Institute, Massachusetts, to record sexual activity men aged 40 to 70 who are involved in long-term research titled "Massachusetts Male Ageing Study", which started in 1987.

After about 16 years, the survey asked participants how often they have sex and then checked-Angela symptoms of heart disease. The researchers also take into account other risk factors, such as age, weight, blood pressure, and cholesterol.

Research found that men who have sex least twice a week is less risk of heart disease compared to those who have sex once a month or fewer.

In the report, researchers said, sex provides benefits both emotionally and physically for the health. Men who have a desire to have sex more often and be able to fulfill it is a healthier group. However, having sex can directly protect the heart and blood vessel health because we do physical activity that can make me burn more calories.

Men who have sex regularly may be having an intimate relationship with a supportive and this is improving the quality of health by lowering levels of stress and social support.
